Reel Earth Productions is founded by Shawn Viens, a Vancouver based Director of Photography and Cinematographer. Along with camera operating and lighting, he specializes in three-axis motion control time-lapse. All time-lapse footage is shot in 4K resolution.
With ten years of experience shooting on high-profile local and international productions including Border Security (National Geographic), The Challenge (MTV) and eight seasons of Survivor (CBS), Shawn has expertise in intense filming environments and extreme conditions. Through instinct and ability he produces superior footage.
Shawn has diverse experiences filming documentaries, reality shows, television, commercials, and music videos and has proven to be a versatile and accomplished director of photography.
